1. Who we are

IB Source is a teaching-resource platform operated by Edtrove (“we”, “us”, “our”). By accessing or using IB Source (the “Service”) you agree to these Terms. Contact: support@edtrove.com.

2. Who may use the Service

The Service is for teachers and school staff. Accounts are not created for students, and students do not sign in. You must be authorised by your school and use the Service in a professional educational capacity.

3. Licences & access

Access is granted under your school’s licence and is limited to the subjects and term for which your school is licensed. Access is personal to you and non-transferable; do not share credentials or access with unauthorised persons.

4. Content & intellectual property

All lessons, worksheets, mark schemes, slides and other materials provided through the Service are our intellectual property (or licensed to us) and are protected by copyright. Subject to your active licence, you may download, print, edit for your own teaching, project, and distribute materials to your own students. You may not resell, publicly redistribute, sub-licence, or post the materials to public or open websites. Downloads may be watermarked to identify the licensed user.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service, including: attempting to bypass licence gating or access controls; scraping or bulk-extracting content; reverse engineering; or using the Service to infringe others’ rights or violate law.

6. Google Classroom integration

If you connect Google Classroom, you authorise us to read your class list and, on your explicit action, post licensed resources you select into your own classes and upload the attached file to your Google Drive. Our use of Google user data adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. See our Privacy Policy. You can disconnect at any time.

7. Availability

We aim to keep the Service available and current but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, add, or remove content and features, and perform maintenance, as part of normal operation.

8. Fees

Access is provided under the commercial terms agreed with your school. Licence fees, term, and renewal are governed by that agreement.

9. Disclaimers & liability

The Service and its content are provided “as is” for educational support and do not guarantee any examination outcome. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or on expiry of your school’s licence. On termination your right to access the Service and materials ends.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date; continued use constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, USA, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Illinois, USA.
