Exercise physiology and nutrition of the human body

This unit spans 11 lessons across four topics: the acute and chronic responses to exercise, inter-system communication through neural and endocrine pathways, hydration and nutrition strategies for health and performance, and — at HL — the composition and function of the gut microbiome.
